This course has been designed and developed following the National Guidelines for Educating EMS Instructors, the National Education Standards, and the Louisiana Bureau of EMS (LaBEMS). This course will be offered as a hybrid course, blending self-study, classroom, and live labs.
This course will provide the student with the didactic component of the educational process. It provides an introduction to the depth and breadth of academic knowledge that is evidence-based best practices for all levels of experience as an EMS educator.
Upon successful completion of the didactic component, the participant must contact the Louisiana Bureau of EMS (BEMS) for completion of the BEMS education process.
