CREDENTIAL: State and National EMT Certification 

In EMT 360, we’re going to start with what counts most in EMS education: real world patient contacts. You’ll start seeing patients at the beginning of the course, and as you see more of them, the material you’re learning in class will get broader and deeper to give you the context of what you’re experiencing in your clinical rotations. Current Louisiana or National Registry EMR's can take advantage of their existing education by entering the course with advanced standing on January 8, 2020. Over the course of EMT 360, students will gain well over 100 hours of clinical experience, and you’ll graduate ready to hit the ground running in your EMS career.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current NREMT or Louisiana EMR certification
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR
• Right to Review Background Check
• Drug Screen
• WorkKeys Assessment
• Physical Exam
• Proof of Immunizations
• Must pass EMR psychomotor and cognitive exams on January 8
• Must have prerequisite online self-study completed prior to January 8
