This course has been designed and developed in accordance with the National Guidelines for Educating EMS Instructors and the National Education Standards.  This course will provide the student with the didactic component of the educational process.  It provides an introduction to the depth and breadth of educational knowledge that is evidenced-based best practices for all levels of experience as an EMS educator.  

Upon successful completion of the didactic component, participant must contact the Louisiana Bureau of EMS (BEMS) for completion of the BEMS education update and NREMT Exam observation component.
